[BUG] OBS 26.x with ReaStream plugin is damn crackling the audio

4 months ago everything was working fine.
But since the latest version of OBS, when I use ReaStream the audio is crackling like I'm using a buffer of 1.
Totally unacceptable. It's crackling the audio like a hell. Even using 4096 as buffer on the audi drivers :-/

So I 'm wondering what's occurring with OBS to have destroyed this :-/

It was an efficient way to send the audio from the DAW to OBS, using it for screencasting instead of Camtasia.

Anyone got the same issue?

P.S. I know somebody else outside this forum, got the same. But I don't see here if anybody else got it AND perhaps solved.
Thanks

I am having the exact same issue. Reastream plugin on 26.1 obs with Ableton. Used to work perfect but now the crackling makes it not usable. Let me know if you find any fixes.

I’m not an admin but you need to do a private stream to yourself / a private YouTube or Facebook page that no one can see, and replicate the issue. Then when it is doing it, click Help - Upload Current Log file and paste it in here for the admins to see what’s happening.

Does the crackling occur without ReaRoute in the mix? If not, this would be something to reach out to the ReaRoute devs about... the OBS developers can't realistically provide support for third-party plugins (including VSTs), and it could be a WIDE variety of things causing the crackle.

I am having the same problem for months. The only thing that seems to help is to use less and less plugins in the DAW. If this continues, I'll not have any reason to use reastream with OBS... sad, but true.

With ReaRoute it doesn't crackle. With ReaStream: yes.
ReaStream is perfectly working with other applications. Only with OBS behaves so.

Thank you for the help, Tormy! Can you please tell me how to use the ReaRoute? I am really newbie to all this livestreaming and routing audio. Just to complicate it even more, my main language is not english. If you could give me a hand on that, it would be great! Thank you very much, my friend!
