Bug in recording audio

Hi. Is this a bug some sort, because when you are in settings -> output - recording: if the type setting is chosen as "standard" obs doesn´t capture game audio at all. It can record my mic if I want to. But after I change the type to "Custom Output (FFmpeg)" obs works and records game play audio. Why is it that the standard choise is not working but I have seen it work with other users?

set it off

03:53:05.456: Running as administrator: false
run OBS as admin

here is the error he cant grab the audio device

WASAPI: Device '1-2 (QUAD-CAPTURE)' [44100 Hz] initialized
03:53:07.363: [audio monitoring: 'Desktop Audio'] audio_monitor_init: Failed to get device: 80070490

have you monitoring on and want to grab from it bad idea

what is an quad-capture have you an link ?

workaround is use Voicemeter so you didnt need to use monitoring you only send out what you need or you make you an monitor mixlook at the picture

Well now I got sound to recordings, I had to put audio output capture as a source so now audio gets in the recording. I don´t believe how I missed that one! Without it there was no sound for games.
