In advanced, if you set your audio monitoring device, it'll work for that session, but when you restart OBS, it'll look like it's still using that device, but instead it's actually using your default desktop audio device, which can cause an undesirable echo/feedback loop in your stream. Setting the device to something else, and then back again seems to fix it, but having to do that every time you launch OBS is a pain.
