BUG – OBS Vertical Video Setting Showing on Horizontal Format on Youtube

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for developing OBS Software.
I'd like to share here an issue I'm encountering on OBS that I can't relate to on other OBS Forum threads.

I'm livestreaming a long video for a youtube channel. It is a pre-recorded Vertical video made to be watch on a smartphone or a tablet.
I've adjusted the settings to 1080x1920 etc. on OBS but it still shows up on Youtube LiveStream as a vertical video in a horizontal format (large black areas on each side). Once the stream is finished, the replay is on the right vertical format.
I'm not interested by the replay so I'd like to fix the issue with the OBS live experience.
What should I do?

Sounds like an issue on Youtube's end. If the content is all pre-recorded, then you should probably be using the YouTube "Premiere" feature rather than streaming.

The idea is to have a 24/7 video stream on the channel using a VPS.
Did a developer encountered the same issue before with OBS?

I have the exact same issue with live capture (not playing pre-recorded video). Does anyone have a solution please?
