Browser sources no longer keep cache

Started appearing round v27 I believe when there was an update to the browser sources. I use a browser source to display the chat via StreamLabs widget, source is not set to refresh when scene becomes active and not set to shutdown when not visible. When I switch scene and come back the last chat messages are still there, but if I switch to a different scene for more 10 minutes, perhaps less, the cache will have been cleared. Is there a hidden timer on that, can it be controlled? This used to work fine before the update.

Like I said, both are unchecked.
Behavior is also inconsistent. Sometimes it will stick, and sometimes a short scene change will clear the cache, I'm having a hard time reproducing consistently while off stream, although it happens regularly on stream hmm...

Oh I see where the misunderstanding is. I do not want the cache to be cleared, I want it to stay active even if the source is not on the active scene. Which is how it used to work when both options were unchecked. The problem being that now it will clear after a while for no apparent reason.
