Question / Help Browser Source Problems in OBS Studio v19

Hey guys, hoping someone can help me.
Before the last patch for OBS Studio I had an animated GIF with transparency that worked as a browser source (you could see through the transparency). After the latest update that is no longer the case. Instead you see a grid instead of the transparency (like you would in PhotoShop).

Is there another way to display an animated GIF with transparency in OBS Studio? I was happy with browser source handling it but with the latest release for some reason that doesn't work anymore.

Something changed in chromium where the auto-generated html when loading a gif directly will show the transparency like you mentioned. You need to embed the gif in html and load that.
Media and image source can also read animated gifs
