Question / Help Browser source not addable on sources tab

i am trying to stream and my overlay is a browser source that is live but when I try adding it I press the add icon and browser/browser source isnt there

This happens if you originally installed an earlier version of OBS that came without browser source and updated up to the current version. The browser source is not added through the updater.

To fix, uninstall OBS, download the current installer from the OBS download site and install it. Your settings will be unaffected by uninstalling/reinstalling.
