I have a problem with Youtube video playing through a browser source, only a few bursts of frames are played unless I 'Interact' with the browser to display the controls.
As an example, I have a single scene with http://www.youtube.com/embed/Iz5cK-FVChg?autoplay=1&start=170&rel=0&modestbranding=1&fs=1&controls=0 as the browser source, which shows a 20 second countdown. It shows a few bursts of frames from around 20 to 16 then freezes all the way. Audio continues uninterrupted.
Playing the same video in a browser works normally with countdown video and audio from 20 to 0
Other browser source settings are defaults, except 'Refresh browser when scene becomes active' to start the timer playing.
Hardware is Lenovo Thinkpad T410
CPU usage is around 5%
Browser Source hardware acceleration is off (otherwise it's completely blank with audio only, the laptop doesn't have a supported GPU- see logfile below)
If I 'interact' with the browser, the video plays normally as long as the Youtube player controls are visible. When they disappear it only updates every few seconds to a minute. The mouse doesn't need to be moving, if I change the above to controls=1 then leaving the cursor stationary hovering over the video timeline at the bottom is sufficient.
The same behaviour is seen with the normal YT site (not the embedded one noted above), as long as there is active interaction it progresses. On the full page player, the advert preceding the video plays without any issues, maybe the constantly displayed overlay over adverts has the same effect as the visible controls?
