Browser Source does not render local html file on Mac Catalina

When I try to select a local HTML file it renders it as plain text and not HTML. OBS has full access to disk in the privacy settings.

Resolved. Issue was with the HTML file itself. Resolved by creating a new boilerplate html5 file in VSC and setting language to HTML.
