Question / Help Browser Source: Classic vs Studio

Why is there such a big difference in how the two plugins work?
I can't use any of the local html-files I used in Classic for Studio.

My Alertsystem uses such html to display a New-Follower-Alert-Animation and I use an html-file to display a webm-file every 30 minutes.

Is there anything I can do to get my existing files to work in Studio or do I have to code something new or do I have to change something in the Studio Browser Source settings?

Please help community.

The local html files i've tried all work fine in the browser source. Upload the stuff that doesn't work somewhere, mayb i can test it.

What I can give is the html-file as a txt-file and the link to the app I use (http://streamview.share-all-live.com/) for the hitbox and twitch related alerts. The developer of the app is a good friend of mine and we both are a bit confused why it works with classic and not with studio
Do you need more info?

What we found out so far is that it does not work with "local file" ... you have to copy the path of the local html-file and use it as url ... is that intended?

OK ... this workaround solves it for the PC version of OBS Studio at the moment.

NOT OK ... does not work for the MAC version of OBS Studio at the moment.

I need your help and/or advice one more time:
Could you please take a look at the attachment ... it contains a webm-video and one html-file.
  • The webm file is a short animation that fades in and out.
  • The html triggers that file after a certain ammount of time.
The problem is that using it with Studio and the new brouwser source, the video gets triggered but doesn't play until the end. There is just a still screen at the end that stays until the webm file gets triggered again. You can try it an customise the ammount of time by editing the html file.

With the Classic version of OBS and its CLR Browser Plugin it works just as intended.

I really appreciate your help. Thank you so much. I really hope we can get this to work for Studio together ...

Greetings from Austria, Lucky ... :D
