Hi, I'm brand new to OBS, trying to copy some old VHS tapes onto DVD. I've got everything set up, however I'm getting the picture broken up strangely on the preview (it comes up fine using the regular PC camera, so it's definitely an OBS user error!) Any advice on how to fix this?

I'm using the Digitnow BR116 video captureCan you provide some detail on the kit you're using to get from your VHS player to your PC.
Just a question, given that the Digitnow BR116 video capture device can capture video from a VHS player and create a DVD why are you bothering with OBS. This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L-7mWGcVEQ&ab_channel=i80386sx gives a lesson in setting up and using the device. If you are hoping to stream to the Internet directly from a VHS tape I'm not sure this is the best way to do it.
I'll have a look at the video - the user guide for the device actually suggests using OBS which is why I downloaded it.
