Hi all! I'm trying to play Zoom audio over a media source (a video) in OBS as I livestream to YouTube - basically need to narrate a video with a guest coming in via Zoom. How do I do this?
In short, you need some sort of "virtual sound card" installed. Then in Zoom you choose that "Virtual Sound Card" as output and in OBS you choose the same as input. There are several alternative for this "Virtual Sound Card" : soundflower, iShowU, blackhole, Virtual-Cable. Choose whatever you think fits your situation and you are comfortable with.
Sorry, forgot to add that the above is needed if you don't want your desktop sound other than Zoom output to also go into OBS. if you are fine with "capturing" all of your desktop sound, you can just add an Audio Output Capture in your scene to get all of your desktop audio.
