Brief Audio Hesitation

Good evening!

We are currently having an issue with our audio in OBS while recording. The audio randomly drops or hesitates for a split second, and occurs numerous times throughout a recording. I have verified that all sources and systems are set to 48kHz. The video is coming in via Blackmagic Television Studio Pro HD and WebPresenter as a Media Device, and the audio is coming through as an audio device.

I have updated to the most recent version of OBS.

Any solutions? Thanks for any insight!

Verify if the issue isn't comming from the source.
Run OBS as admin.

Also, for audio it's recommended to use CoreAusio AAC Encoder. Please read the guide and only install what it tells you.

If the issue persist, remove the filters.

I have this issue too. I record audio from FL Studio while making beats and then I also record my mic. Both audio tracks in OBS will have random audio dropouts that occur and will sound like pops or glitches. I downloaded the AAC encoder, and it makes the recorded audio sound way better from FL Studio - but the glitches still occur at various times throughout the recordings.

I had this issue with my Z170 PC. It had an Asus Xonar Essence STX soundcard in it. My new Z690 has no soundcard & no issues. You may find your answer

OP, I looked at your log. You're using on-board (Realtek) audio with no soundcard. Check your audio driver, if it's a generic Windows driver, replace it with the latest RealTek driver. If you still have issues, it's more than likely either the BMD or WebPresenter devices causing the issue just like the Xonar Essence was on my old PC.
