Break out the audio Levels and db metering into python scripting

Requesting a api or memory space to read for each audio source that makes it easier than using FFI as no documentaion is really available or found easily and or there is no windows support that i know of?

I have seen this be requested in previous years but seems to have been closed a few times maybe with the newer audio setup it is easier?

This would be great addition to scripting automation!
Im Also looking into making/designing a hardware piece for production use
