Hello there,
Recently, I've completely reset my Windows OS by re-installing and everything since then has gone downhill.
A completely new install of OBS (Streamlabs and regular) both destroy my CPU, utilizing over 50% with *no* scenes or sources added.
I have a fairly strong computer, I7-6700K at 4GHz, 1080TI, 16GB of RAM, the works.
I've tried just about everything I've found online and I've come to the conclusion that I must be cursed:
My computer runs everything perfectly when OBS is not on, with the heaviest load being Photoshop or Overwatch at 144Hz.
As soon as I even look at the OBS icon though, my computer freezes in terror.
I've retrieved my latest OBS log so hopefully that sheds some light on the situation: https://pastebin.com/rUkvpaMf
Please, somebody help me.

- Turning off XBOX DVR
- Trying every single encoding option for both x264 software and NVENC hardware
- Unplugging peripheral devices like my webcam
- Turning off web browser hardware acceleration
- Updating drivers
