- Added “Branch Output” to source or scene effect filters.
- One stream per Branch Output filter can be sent with dedicated encoding settings.
- Multiple Branch Outputs can be added to a single source or scene (as PC specs allow)

Any plans to add recording functionality later? I know right now it isn't supported, but would be really awesome for my workflow to be able to record scenes/sources separately.

Is it possible to make this apply the Filter to a source, and select an existing output in the 'Aitum Multistream' view?

Currently you have to add in server URL and Stream Keys into the filter - would this duplicate the output and add extra demand on the GPU?

Hey,

I have a problem where I want to connect to more than 5 streams the 6th stream does not connect can anyone confirm that?

My understanding is that different video sources require different encoding, so Branch Output should use GPU resources for each video source anyway.

However, when adding multiple Branch Output filters to a single source, I think there is room for optimization to combine the encoders into one.

0.9.9 Release (Quick bug fix of 0.9.8)

Changes
  • Studio Mode Bugfix: Crash/duplicated outputs bug on Studio Mode with scene/sources duplication
  • Exclude recording checkbox from recent settings loading during filter creation.
  • Bugfix: Couldn't detect source's resolution changes some cases.
Important note for Studio Mode: Branch Output ignores studio mode's program out and always outputs preview's one

Hi. I'm going to download and play around with the tool however, might it be a good idea to explain what the tool does in layman terms?

From the Reviews it seems like it's a Source Record alternative? Is Branch Output aiming to do what Streamlams "Selective recording" does?? I'm not sure I understand the use and would like more of an explaination. can you point me in the right direction if I have missed it. Thanks

Yes, this is a plugin that does the same.
It also provides improved reliability for the live stream function.

I downloaded the plugin but i havent fully tested it, my issue right now is how to swap scenes per stream. I want to both swap over scenes independently per stream and to do it dependently (if I click "gaming view" scene it swaps to the complimentary scene per stream). I havent seen this feature yet and just want to make sure it's there or not.

Currently Branch Output only provides a live streaming or recording encoder for each input or scene, but does not provide the ability to have multiple transitionable mixes.

The way to achieve the idea you mentioned is to launch multiple OBS instances as before, which is not elegant at all but is the quickest way.

If you really want to use only one OBS instance, you would have to use scripts or switching plug-ins to directly rewrite the content of the scene in conjunction with transitions.
Or develop a new plug-in that specializes in the above, etc.

Merci pour ce plugin. J'ai remarqué que la visibilité du filtre Branch Output n'apparaît pas dans les raccourcis clavier ou dans les applications macro comme Touch Portal. Pensez-vous qu'il soit possible de résoudre ce problème ? Merci.
