I just paid money for Voicemeeter, which I hate because it doesn't work well and I would have much rather put $30 towards a virtual audio device bounty on OBS directly. I know that there was a $10K bounty for the virtual camera feature placed back in 2020. Skimming that issue ticket, it appears that there was a lot of discussion on the pros/cons of different bounty systems (like BountySource vs GitCoin vs Github ) and it looks like that particularly large bounty was paid out through the OBS Open Collective system. AFAICT, however, the effort to create a system for individuals to contribute to smaller bounties fizzled out.... At least I can't find any reference on the Github RFC repo, in the forums, or on the donation page.
