Question / Help BM 4K Pro and OBS Flickering

I have a Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4k and I'm a bit confused on how to get it to work with my ps4.

The card's drivers install fine, and it seems to be there. But when I try and plug my ps4 in and look at it in OBS the input from the card flickers on and off.

I took a video of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvZ6kRsSYM8&feature=youtu.be everything seems to work fine in OBS, and I see PS4 frames pop up on occasion. I have my ps4 outputting full RGB and I tried both 1080p and 720p which either did nothing.

Anyone have any insight into this? Or can i provide anymore data?

I'm using Ubuntu 16.10 and Obs 20.1.3

Without log data and with that description, do you happen to set in Video config on OBS 60fps? because from your video BM IP4k was set to 59.94. I don't mean to assume you don't know that , just double checking for further help. So in OBS -> Settings -> Video -> Select 59.94.

You should provide full obs logs from that session for further help

Yep Shaolin, I set the inputs to reflect what was in the card's input so as an input in OBS it was 1080p@59.94 and 720p@59.94 or whatever, which was why I saw the flickering I believe. Something was coming up

I actually ended up figuring this out for anyone else having trouble.

I went into my PS4 settings and turned off HDCP, as well I set my PS4's resolution to 1080p default and full RGB color range. I turned off HDR and full color or whatever it's called. Then my ps4 captured perfectly.

It's 5000 CBR bitrate, faster preset, main profile and zerolatency tune. Looks pretty good to me. I need to tweak the sound a bit though.
