I have been using OBS for about 9 months now to stream all of our school's sporting events. I teach a broadcasting class and we absolutely love the flexibility that OBS offers. However, we are really struggling with our video quality this year. All of our streams look blurry or pixelated, especially the football games. We have tried adjusting almost anything that we can think of, but still keep getting the same poor quality. Our graphics always look sharp, but the video quality is usually very bad. If anybody is in a similar situation or has any suggestions, please help!!
Here is our current setup: (I will see if I can attach a data log when I get back to my school computer tomorrow)
Canon vixia HF G20
Elgato Camlink 4K
1080p 30 fps
Bitrate 7000
Upload Speed 94 MBPS and we are wired in via ethernet
Streaming to Youtube and Facebook via Restream.io
