EVGA GeForce GTX 960. no overclocks, and an I7 2600K. Running the latest version (and I checked) of NVIDIA drivers; version 378.78.
I've had a fuzzy resolution problem for a long time now, and I don't know what has been causing it. It is affecting every screen recorder I've tried. Fraps, Shadowplay, and Dxtory all record with the same fuzzy problem. I've checked the settings.
I have OBS set to:
-1920 x 1080
-CBR Bitrate control with a Bitrate of 30000
-Downscale is set to 1920 x 1080 on both base and output, with the Lanczos filter.
-Renderer set to Direct3D 11
-Process priority is set to high
-Recording in H.264 (MP4)
-60 FPS
Generally, Dxtory, Fraps, and OBS share the same general settings. Shadowplay is, with the addition of a strange update, basically useless now because NVIDIA removed all of the important settings or hid them away somewhere.
Anything not listed here I either left default or I just didn't include because it's not important. (Obviously, I'm wrong somewhere here, so if there's a setting that I'm forgetting, please let me know.)
As this is affecting every screen recorder I have, I don't think it is an OBS problem. I think it's something to do with my drivers.
As for NVIDIA's side of Direct3D, I have almost everything maxed out for quality.
Basically, I'm leaning on a hardware issue now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
