(Accidentally posted log twice, sorry about that)
Hello! First time requesting help on the forum, so please excuse me if I forgot to add any details!
At first I thought it was because I was streaming a higher speed game like Kingdom Hearts 2.8 but I've noticed some blurry quality in my Pokemon Streams too.
Basically, I do a little bit of live streaming throughout the week, and I've noticed that when I look back at my stream, the quality is actually really blurry. The image isn't very sharp and it almost feels like the whole video is out of focus. I've looked around these forums for solutions for a while now, and I have seen the common issues of people trying to stream at bit-rates way higher than their internet can provide as well as people trying to stream at higher resolutions at too low of bit-rates. I'm not really sure how common 1080p streaming is nowadays, but I figure that in 2017, it isn't terribly uncommon. I am streaming to Youtube Gaming and they recommend that If you are going to stream at 1080p @ 60fps, that you set your bit-rate between 4500-9000.
From all of the other posts I've seen, 3500 seems to be the max bit-rate people recommend streaming and even then they claim that it is a bit high. I would love to stream at 1080, at it seems that I should be capable of doing it hardware wise. My problem seems to come from the bitrate issues though. I've set the bit-rate to 4500 and then my buffer size to the same. But when I start streaming, my bit rate will fluxuate anywhere from 5800 down to 1800. I don't understand why it does this and I am wondering if that could be the issue I'm dealing with? I've also tried lowering my fps to 30, lowering my resolution to 720p at 60 and 30, and then lowering the bitrate to match the 720 setting, which I have been told was around 2500. Still the same quality. I've noticed with Kingdom Hearts, that the whole screen goes super blurry when lots of particles hit the screen, and in the Pokemon streams, my webcam looks terrible a points but slightly better in others.
Here are a couple of my streams:
Kingdom Hearts ( You might have to go about 40 min's in for gameplay) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlPl-5giXc0
Pokemon - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg48rixcoXc
Please let me know if I need to provide more information, I have never requested support from a forum before.
