Bluetooth headphones revert to poor quality output when OBS running

Hi, I have found that when I start OBS my headphones revert to a poor quality output (mono/scratchy sound). When I exit the app, the headphones revert to high quality output. I couldn't immediately find a setting adjustment for this but I may have missed something. Is there a setting for this? Thx.
 
You most likely have OBS set to record audio from your headphone mic. Bluetooth switches to garbage quality when it has to record and play at the same time. Disable any recording sources which access your Bluetooth mic.
