Question / Help Blank Screen When Advanced Scene Switcher

Your sources are set to close when inactive and restart on activate. This forces a reconnect on a scene switch, and a reconnect on a rtsp connection takes its time.

Well, I assume yes. Just try it instead of asking, it's just 2 option changes in every of your sources. They will continue to run and stream without actually being displayed.

You might also use the multiview to check all available scenes simultaneously in one preview. left-click every scene you want to monitor and activate "show in multiview" and activate the multiview with View->Multiview

Koala, I didn't even know there was that option... thanks. I will start looking around the settings and see what I can find.

ok..... as I mentioned new to this software.... but.... i looked around the source options...and did not see any way to keep the stream active... and my multiviewer is only showing the active source, not any of the other sources......

In the properties of a vlc media source there is a dropdown list as 3rd option. Set it to "Always play even when not visible".

Thanks... I do not have VLC installed on this computer... i will do it and try again...thanks for all your help.

Installed VLC....works like a champ.... If you are ever in the Detroit area.... I owe you a beer....
