Question / Help Blank Preview

Fresh install of OBS Studio on a 'new' laptop and I can't get a preview to come up for a game. I was able to do a Display Capture to show something but not a Game Capture. I've tried several games including Fallout 4 which is what will show in the log file. Thanks for any guidance y'all can give!

If you're using a laptop and getting a black screen with window and game capture sources, follow the instructions at http://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/

Also Quadro's aren't very good for gaming, and can actually cause more issues then regular Geforce cards.

Thanks for the quick reply and link to that article. I tried both options and didn't get any love. I have to run but will try again when I'm back home. Regarding the GPU, I don't really have a choice as this is a work laptop and I just get what I get :)

The nvidia control panel wasn't retaining the settings after I hit apply. Once I realized that I reinstalled the drivers and now it's working. Thank you sir!
