So I'm currently working with a nonprofit to work on updating their broadcasting setup.
Right now they have two cameras with SDI outputs, a Macbook Pro sending a video signal via HDMI to their projector and to their current mixer (they're using a splitter), and an XLR cable from their soundboard for audio.
I'm trying to find the best device to get all of those inputs into OBS for a fairly low (sub-$500) price. Right now my frontrunner is the Blackmagic Ultrastudio Express, but I haven't been able to confirm that I can get multiple streams of video from it into OBS using just that. I'd like to have each of the video sources (the HDMI input, camera 1 and camera 2) each available as a source for me to manipulate within OBS, along with the XLR audio coming in as well.
As of now we're using an older Roland V-4EX mixer, and a Blackmagic rack device to capture the footage to an SSD (the name escapes me at the moment).
Does anyone know if that is possible? If not, what are some good alternatives / options to go with?
