Question / Help Blackmagic - missing audio track in recording

Hello,

I'm very happy with OBS, I'm having some issues with recording using Blackmagic intensity shuttle USB 3.0. Everything works fine one moment and then the next time when I restart the computer it doesn't work anymore.

I noticed that if I change the Audio Sample rate from 48khz to 44.1khz, restart OSB, then back from 44.1khz to 48khz everything starts working, I don't need to change anything else - no computer restart, not changes in Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup, no nothing.

I was able to capture the logs and posted them on gist.github.com

Code:
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/e0fcb281a44d6c838b6439575e726791 - 48kHz -> 44.1kHz
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/8a06af5348dba47818ac3cb664aef9ce - 44.1kHz -> 48kHz
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/c17a0e4e0ba2d1a41bb03a3a243f7fe5 - Just start - No test
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/7b934a8f02ebe26fc5287561e71cf75a - Everything works fine

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The USB3.0 Shuttle is know for having various issues (outside of OBS) and is the only BMD device we actually recommend AGAINST buying and using.

I wish I could offer a better fix than "Don't use it, and use something else" but alas, that's why we don't recommend the device in the first place.

Thank you for your feedback.

I agree that the device has some limitations but I fail to understand why this specific issue is a device issue. I didn't change anything in the device, just în OBS... After OBS reset for Sample rate, everything works fine. It's not like I had to make any changes in the device settings.
