greetings friends, i would like to post a "maybe" problem i face in my work.
i work in an audiovisual company in Greece with expertise in live streaming. all signals from cameras/laptops lead to a custom made rack which contains a blackmagic atem mini extreme iso hdmi. for safety reasons, instead of using usb to output pgm to my encoder, i use 1 of the 2 hdmi outputs of atem to send the PGM signal to my blackmagic ultra studio recorder and through a tb3 cable to my laptop. we use OBS to stream, and the issue i face every time is that when i plug in everything and start OBS, i don't see the signal on OBS, and to bypass this, i must unplug the tb cable, replug it (while obs is open), disable-enable the source and it gets fixed. that's why i say it is a "maybe" problem. if i bypass it every time but i want a stable solution to this. also, there are no disconnecting issues of the pgm signal to obs once i do this. once obs is closed, then next time, i must do it again. i've tested this with different cables and other ultra studio recorders, but the issue continues. any ideas??
thank you very much.
hardware: blackmagic ultra studio recorder 3g
signal: 1080 50p
cable: thunderbolt 3
port: thunderbolt 4
obs version: 29.1.3
