Hi everyone,

I have a 2014 iMac 5k that I purchased with the following specs.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)
4 GHz Intel Core i7
32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB
500gb SSD

I am in the process of purchasing this PCIe expansion box in order to install a PCIe capture card, specifically the Blackmagic Decklink 4k: http://www.akitio.com/accessories/thunder2-pcie-box

Does OBS support the Blackmagic Decklink? This card: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...c_design_bdlkstudio4k_decklink_studio_4k.html

That is my question..

I have tried using the Elgato HD60 but the native software for streaming is garbage and causes color banding and random artifacts on the stream.. and obviously no OBS support. I have also tried using the Blackmagic Intensity Pro w/Thunderbolt, but does NOT support 1080p60 which is what the Xbox One outputs. I have to switch my Xbox One settings to 720p in order to get a signal to the BMI Pro, but I didn't buy a next generation console only to be able to play at 720p.

Thanks everyone..

Unfortunately I don't know yet. Blackmagic devices tend to work with mac stuff much better, but at the moment I cannot say for sure without testing it myself or hearing from others.
