Hi!

When I stream, the audio from my Blackmagic Decklink Mini Recorder randomly gets distorted.. Removing the device compleatly and adding it again fixes it until next random occurance.

Log file extract:
Code:
15:38:53.968: Audio line 'Blackmagic Device' no longer receiving out of bounds audio data.
15:38:54.007: Audio line 'Blackmagic Device' currently receiving out of bounds audio data. This can sometimes happen if there's a pause in the thread.

Is it enought to just increase the audio buffer? ( changed it from 1000 to 2000 ms now)

Hmm, I guess not - it just went "all Kraftwerk" on me again..

I really hoped to be able to use the multi platform version and it's native blackmagic device support instead of the generic windows one in Classic OBS.

I am having the same issue with the same capture card. My guess is that if you start up OBS with the device saved and your capture source is not active then this issue occurs. Once I turned it on and refreshed the source in the properties, by switching the desired resolution, it ends with a positive message without a relapse. That's not really a technical answer, but I'll let you know if it reoccurs. I also unchecked buffering.

If it continues then I'll probably switch back to running on my Linux box, but I'm afraid this issue is isolated to the hardware and not the OS.

Just a FYI I am now having trouble reproducing the error.

I also don't think it is a streaming problem per se because in my logs the error was occuring when I wasn't either recording or streaming.
