First, specs: Lenovo x140e laptop updated to Windows 10, 8 gigs of ddr3 ram, AMD A4-5000 Processor, AMD Radeon HD 8330 graphics, not using nvidia.
All video source outputs (video cap device, display cap, etc) do not show up in the scene preview, or on the recording (I do still get audio, though). However, they DO show up in the 'properties' tab preview, or on the left hand side in studio mode. But then they immediately disappear again once I go out of studio mode or out of properties.
I have tried:
Resetting the transform in case it initialized off-screen
Updating windows
Updating webcam drivers
Reinstalling obs
Creating a new scene collection
Switching to both high-performance and power-saving modes, as suggested by the laptop black screen guide
Closing any other programs that are using the webcam, or any other captures.
