Question / Help Black screen

I have OBS set up to stream League of Legends with game capture (injected syphon) working fine but after every game and switching back to the LoL client scene, when it comes the next game, and I switch back to game capture it is just black. And just to keep streaming, I would have to remove the current game capture source, re-add it, and inject again.

This is another problem I have and probably should make another thread but if someone has the answer for this as well that would be helpful. This only happens sometimes, but during my stream, and I'm trying to switch scenes, OBS completely crashes with no crash report/ notice. I would reopen and the same problem would occur. I have to constantly reopen in and hope it doesn't crash. Also, I didn't have any problems with crashing when I first set up the stream, which was less than a day ago.

This is a known issue with LoL. Syphon acts on a process. When the game closes a process and starts a new one, you have to inject the new process. Only other workaround is display capture with a crop. Window capture is not recommended.

In my experience sudden crashes, especially while switching scenes, is due to scene and scene collection files becoming corrupted. I tend now to build scenes and export them, and if/when OBS becomes unstable, I either delete individual collections or wipe everything and re-import my scenes and profiles.
