Question / Help Black screen

My attempts to record my minecraft game result in a black screen in the OBS window. I have read up on similar issues, but the answer is normally that the video cards in some laptops have multiple outputs. I don't think my Laptop has a dedicated video card in it. Does this mean I can't use OBS at all?
