Do you have the BlackMagic device itself set to the correct settings input settings?

Blackmagic devices don't have built-in scaling, so what it means when a blackmagic device has a black screen is that you've selected the wrong resolution/FPS combination. (Although if it works with 0.9.1 and not 0.10.0 it might be a bug because I did change some device stuff)

But if it's just a configuration issue, then an easy way to solve it is simple opening the blackmagic capture program, making sure that it works in there, checking to see what resolution/fps blackmagic's program says it's running at, then closing it and then opening obs and setting the same resolution/fps in the properties of the device in obs.

Problem solved...The resolution/FPS combination on the camera was set differently then software settings.

Thank you,
David

Yeah, that's my issue with Blackmagic devices -- you have to have them set exactly right or else it won't work. They don't have any sort of auto-detection like most other cards, which is frustrating.
