I have a gaming computer (laptop) and I have OBS 23,2,0 64-bit. I can record my browser but I can't record my entire monitor with icons etc. Then the picture will only be black. What am I doing wrong?
Laptops generally have a high performance and a power saving GPU. If you want to use display capture, you need to make sure OBS runs on the power-saving GPU. See https://obsproject.com/wiki/Laptop-Troubleshooting
