Question / Help Black Screen with Window Capture

I've been trying to setup obs studio to stream League of Legends and I'm able to capture the client fine, but when I try to use window capture to capture the game window all I get is a black screen (although I can see the cursor moving around). League is set to borderless window, so that should be fine. And I was able to capture Hearthstone fine with borderless window, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

Why is that? I will do it if it's the only option, but why doesn't borderless window capture work for league when it works for hearthstone?

I figured it out. You can still use game capture even with borderless window. I didn't even try it before since I read to use fullscreen for game capture and borderless window for window capture, but it works.

I doubt that was from any officially endorsed guides. Game capture before any attempt at window capture is our usual recommendation regardless of windowed vs fullscreen for games.
