Question / Help Black Screen with no preview

So I'm testing this software to see if it's feasible for live streaming and wanted to give it a test before I really put it to use. However, when I set it up, I get a black screen for a preview if I attempt to "Game Capture", however when I do "Display Capture", the whole screen is displayed. I am attempting to display a specific window (Ultima Online) exe.

I have a desktop PC with the following specs:
Intel Xeon E5-26XXv3 (10 core)
16GB DDR4
EVGA GTX 960 4GB
512GB SSD
24" 4k Screen

So the video device is greyed out which is normal for single GPU setups and the Xeon doesn't even have an on-chip GPU so I'm not sure what I might have done wrong with the settings. Any ideas? From what I can tell from the log file, OBS studio is having problems with capturing from the client.exe (ultima online).

What directx version does that game use?

Having somewhat the same problem.... Game Capture has no Preview but if you Click on the Properties link when the game is running it clearly shows that OBS is hooking the game.

Also had this happen with Left 4 Dead 2 on the same system.
