Question / Help Black screen with AMD encoder

Hey guys , i have a problem when using a AMD ENCODER option , i tried everything all downscale filters , all resolutions al renders , i always get black screen with sound :) . When i use x264 it works OK as much ok as my internet allows it but when i try to go to amd encoder i get black screen . Anyone have an idea

Then you should outright not be using the amd encoder at all.

It does not support CBR properly and will cause bitrate spikes and other problems.

Yea but my friend is using same settings with AMD and it is working OK , but for me it is not working he is using 7770 am using 7850 amd . It has worked before but then i had even worst internet and i couldn't stream . And it would be a lot easier to use AMD then x264 since it is using a lot of cpu and i have only one PC with i5 2500k

Except the quality per bitrate is massively worse on the AMD encoder before you even factor in the fact that the encoder doesn't properly support CBR which is basically required for streaming.

We don't recommend using those hardware encoders for streaming.
