Hi all,
I have the infamous black screen when I try to use Window Capture function with Zoom.exe process. The Preview and the video output are black.
I already tried to:
- update both video drivers (Intel and Nvidia, on a laptop)
- set either Intel Integrated and Nvidia Card for both Zoom and OBS Studio
- set either Power Saving and High Performance on Windows Settings - Graphic Settings for OBS Studio
- installed and tried OBS Studio 32 bit (just to try everything and being sure that it wasn't a compatibility problem because Zoom is 32 bit)
- saying a lot of bad words while doing all of this trying to figure out WTF is happening (I have another old gaming laptop that has both Intel and Nvidia cards and some months ago I tried successfully both streaming and recording)
Also, I tried to record the entire screen to bypass the problem. The Preview window works fine, but the video output is black. Tried even here all solutions above and also changed all the encoder types to try even that.
I am out of ideas and online I can't find anything beside these solution I tried.
Oh, I also tried on a Virtual Machine to record the Zoom window just to be sure it isn't an expected behavior: works fine.
