Question / Help Black Screen When Using Game Capture!

Im trying to capture some game footage using the 'Game Capture' mode, i am running OBS Studio with Admin rights but when i watch back the test recording i get a black screen with the game audio playing, also nothing is showing in the OBS window when im recording.

I have tried, 'capture any fullscreen apllication' and also 'capture specific window' whilst making sure to select the correct window in question and none of these options work and i still get a black screen, any ideas?

What application you trying to capture? Metro (UWP/Store applications) and DX12 cannot be captured by current build of the OBS Studio...
EDIT: ...(via 'Game Capture' source, use 'Display Capture' instead).

Ah it is a UWP game im trying to capture.

Will future builds be able to capture UWP and DX12 games in Game Capture mode?

Also is there an performance hit using Display Capture over Game Capture?

DX12 - unavoidable.

UWP - not sure (due to design; it was designed to not interfere with other software, or something like this).

A bit (it captures only whole desktop when all application's view is updated or so).
