So i have been trying to record a full screen minecraft video because my friends wanted me to make a "tour" like video for the server i'm setting up. I'm new to OBS but i have read the FAQ and i have looked on google/youtube for about and hour now. I have not found any solutions so i ask you. I am trying to record full screen MC i get game audio and mic audio and none full screen video. how exactly do i get full screen to record? i am using the game capture source as well as the display capture and all that records is a black screen. i have included a log so you can see system specs and other info.

Moved your thread to the proper location. What is your capture source? Window, game or monitor? Only game capture will work with full screen sources.

i have both game capture and monitor on with game cap set as the higher priority
delete the monitor capture, its probably in front if the game capture, either way, you cannot capture full screen games with monitor capture.

And what do you mean high priority? there should be no need to do those sort of things.

well i have the game capture on the higher on the list. also i remove the display capture and its still black screen
Do you get the same black screen in windowed mode? Readd the game capture. Do you have anything else in your scene (behind the game capture or not?)

so ive gotten it sorta to capture after going to original version though it seems very unreliable and rather grainy even at highest settings with a large gap of black at beginning and end.

Oh wait, we're talking about the win120 version of minecraft? yeah, I dont think that works yet. I've tried so there is something different with the capture
