Question / Help Black Screen when trying to capture Minecraft 1.9 on OBS Studio

I am trying to record Minecraft on version 1.9, and whenever I try to record it there is always a black screen. I checked my screen resolution and it's still showing a black screen. Can someone help me so I can record? I've tried running as administrator and it doesn't work.

Try using screen capture for now, if you need to get the recording working.
Also, I recommend Windowed Borderless Gaming if you need to configure Minecraft running in, well, windowed borderless mode. Here is the steam group for it.

It is display capture. Sorry for the wrong wording. I'm not using the English version of the client.

windowed borderless capture cant find minecraft

Ok, you need to use Window Borderless Gaming to display Minecraft in pseudo fullscreen and then display capture the display you're viewing Minecraft on.

Having the same problem. Funny thing is, it worked yesterday, and when I tried to record today I get a black screen. Nothing has changed.

Edit: OBS decided to change the capture size to 0 by 0 pixels, maybe double check that?

Disable the "Use Custom Scaling" option on the properties of the game capture source.
