Question / Help Black screen when live streaming Mac desktop

Hi,

I seem to have everything up and running on Mac OS 10.2.

I am casting screen with audio. Audio is from external sound card.

Soundflower is working and I see audio level in OBS main window.

I can connect to Twitch and YouTube - all good.

Preview video on both platforms is just black screen.

Have tried and checked screen resolution, audio bit rate etc. Looks good in OBS window, but black when I check stream.

I have searched extensively for anyone with similar problems, but returns are all game casts on PC not screeen casts on Mac.

Any ideas please?

Providing a logfile with a complete stream attempt might help. There is a sticky in this forum that shows how.

Not sure why a blank preview, but your CPU cannot handle the settings you are giving it. Go to a faster CPU preset.

CPU was at 4%, but will try another setting.

Gonna give up for a bit and try another day. Soundflower is giving me problems now...

Alex, Did you every figure out why OBS and the stage view looked good but the previews on your streaming services was blank? Out of nowhere I am now experiencing this exact same issue... 4 nights ago I streamed fine just like I expected and now the only thing going out to my platforms is a blank stream. Nothing that appears on my OBS stage is going out.
