Question / Help Black Screen when attempting to capture Destiny 2 on PC

BEFORE I get the "Destiny 2 isn't supported" "Screw Bungie" replies, OBS is supported with the following criteria:

• To capture while playing in Windowed Mode (including Borderless Fullscreen):
  • OBS and XSplit Screen Capture mode is supported.
  • OBS and XSplit Window Capture mode is supported.

However, I am still getting a black screen. Even running in Windowed Mode.

I am having this issue no matter what "Mode" I select in game. Just only ever get a black screen. Did the normal restart and see if that did anything, but that did nothing. At this point I'm more inclined to believe something with OBS is not right.

I figured it out. Click the "+" to add a new source. Choose "Window Capture" in the drop down box. Then, in the WINDOW drop box in the properties, choose Destiny 2. Worked for me!

Nothing is wrong with OBS. Display and Window capture work fine, I tested them myself. Please provide a log so we can see what might be going on.

Same here, olny monitor capture works

@Fenrir sorry. The beta ended before I saw your response, so now I can't try to stream it for log.
I was able to get it to stream using a window capture, but I'd still rather use the game capture.

That is up to Bungie. We have no control over it. They are explicitly blocking OBS from functioning normally, and I hope you see why we can't do anything to bypass that.
