Black Screen using game capture OBS V. 0.13.4 Win 7

Hello, I was trying to set up OBS to record Total War: Rome 2. I had it working fine, then tried to use Droidcam to use my phone as a camera to record my face during the videos. Got Droidcam to work but then the gamecapture of Rome 2 was a black screen. I tried turning off droidcam, restarting and the capture worked a little bit. I would get one frame of Rome and then the preview would freeze. Pressing record and recording a video only yielded a black screen with game audio. Uninstalled and reinstalled using Revo Uninstaller (can't post log of install if needed) but the problem persists and no longer displays even one frame before freezing. I tried looking up solutions but all the solutions I found to this problem are for laptops or a completely different version of OBS. I looked for problems with OBS being run on integrated graphics and games run on GTX 580 but did not see the option in my nvidia control panel that was described >>Here<< for laptops. I have also tried setting up a game capture with Dirty Bomb, tried using Display Capture and tried switching game capture to any fullscreen application - both result in the same black screen. No idea what to do, so came here for some help :)

I am using Windows 7 64 bit on a desktop computer.
Specs:
GPU: Nvidia GTX 580
CPU: i5-2500k w/ Intel Integrated GPU
Ram: 8GB

Thanks in advance for any help!

I fixed the issue. It turns out, it was indeed a problem with the integrated GPU and GTX 580 conflicting (I used the OBS Log Analyzer to figure out that it was indeed the issue) but when I went into the Nvidia control panel the option Jim describes in this post is not in my Nvidia control panel (which I had to google to find out what he was referring to haha). After doing more googling I discovered that I had to turn off the 2500k's integrated GPU in my bios, after doing that OBS works fine again. Another thing that caused a black screen once I turned off the integrated GPU was Rivatuner Statistics Server (RSS) for displaying onscreen hardware information through MSIAfterburner. I tried a few of the fixes posted on the forums but none of them worked for me and I had to uninstall RSS to get rid of the conflict. However if you are using it to display Frames Per Second (FPS) in your games, Steam has a FPS counter you can enable.

Hope this helps anyone else who is having this issue! :D
