Question / Help Black Screen / Stuck at a frame

Good evening,
I've been having issues with recording,
I've got display capture on the bottom and game capture on the top.
also can't seem to find monitor capture on my drop down list, nor can i find an option to switch between GPUs.

if i use Game Capture ONLY i'll get a black screen, nothing else.
if i use Game Capture with Display Capture underneeth it, i'll get through to the lobby at first but it'll only record till the loading ends, and the record gets stuck at that frame, so the rest of the video is a picture of the final frame of loading.

please post a log and if game capture gets a black screen it usually means it can't hook the game. If you put display capture underneath it will just be capturing display capture since game capture is blank. Some games/programs that have problems with not working on game capture will work with window capture.

The black screen is normal in OBS now. You won't ever get rid of it. Format, try another PC, it's just the way OBS runs now.

Whats funny is I just tried the Screen Capture and it too isn't working anymore.

So basically? OBS just black screens anything game related. I went back to ShadowPlay. Until a new group of folks come in and develop for OBS, it's going to treated like a WoW Developer does things: deny there's anything wrong with it and ignore the problem.

Funny, I can capture all the games I play.
Also new group to develop for OBS? There's only 1 developer and he's been working on OBS for years.
