Question / Help Black screen recording game window (AMF)

I used to record all of the time without issue and now I've started again after not trying for a month and I cannot get any recordings. Every time it's just a black (or sometimes grey) screen, even in the preview window. I see quite a few errors on startup in the log. The only thing I can think of that's changed since it was working is newer AMD drivers (17.12.1 instead of 17.4.4). I have not changed any OBS settings and have tried updating to the latest version of AMF to no avail.

Logs are attached. Any help is appreciated.

Because it's smaller, what kind of a question is that? Does this make you happier?

It looks like you have another application installed that may already be hooking the game process and is blocking OBS from capturing.

From our factoid bot:
Conflicts with Game Capture: Other capture programs, Razer Synapse (disable heatmaps), graphics mods like ENBSeries and SweetFX, and any type of software or utility that displays an in-game overlay like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, TS3/Mumble overlays, Dolby Axon, Raptr, Overwolf, etc. If you use D3DGear it must be uninstalled completely.

OK, I do use MSI Afterburner but I always have, even when things were working. Is there some new incompatibility between OBS and Afterburner now? Or maybe it's to do with AMD's new monitoring overlay feature since driver 17.12.1?

EDIT: Exiting Afterburner didn't fix the problem, but once I closed the game, closed Afterburner, and relaunched the game, OBS started to show a preview again. I then restarted Afterburner and both applications seem to work fine together. This is very strange!
