Question / Help Black screen on window and display capture

I have a device with windows 10. Game Capture works fine, however window capture is black and display capture gives me multiple screens within screens.

Display capture doing that is normal, droste effect as long as the obs window is up on the display you're capturing.
What windows are you trying to capture?

So how do I not get droste effect? Trying to capture The xbox one window when I link my laptop to my console and it does not seem to work. Thanks.

You minimize the obs window.
