Question / Help Black Screen on Game Capture

I have been researching this issue off an on for several hours now, but have not found a problem or solution that seems to fit my exact problem. I am trying to run and record a game called "Ib". It runs through RTPMaker and has a forced full screen that stretches the game.

Due to having issues with game capture in the past I've always just used Monitor Capture because it was easy and got what I needed, but when I use it on this game, the window shrinks down to about a 10th of my laptop screen and the capture flashes and is impossible to see anything. I did note that some of the flashing was happening when running the game itself so I had to switch it to Win XP compatibility to fix it in game, but this did not help the capture in any way,

When I try to run the capture as a Game Capture specifically, I will go and select the specific window, which does show the application, and set to 'use anti-cheap compatibility hook' as I have seen suggested. The preview pane shows where the game should be (the adjustable red display box) but that will flash in and out, and upon rewatching the capture, has captured the audio of the game, but no video.

Upon trying to use Window Capture the application isn't even recognized by OBS.

I just have a Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000, so I'm not able to apply the same settings as for Nvidia laptops, but I did try going into the control panel of my graphics card and enabling the only options I had which was to use the Application's settings.

I'm really at a loss here so any help would be appreciated. I've also tried all your standard close, reopen, run as admin, run 64-bit in various combinations. This is a fresh install as of today as well because I was having the same issue on OBS Classic and decided to give this version a shot to see if I had better luck.
Cheers.
