Question / Help Black screen. Nothing but black

Hi! I've been trying to use OBS for a long time. I have never gotten it to record anything but a black screen! I have tried many fixes and solutions but still nothing :\ The preview is completely fine and shows everything I'm doing. But after I stop the recording it is only black. 61 MB For a 4-second video of a black screen, Great Youtube content!
