hi, got the black screen problem. i saw the sticky thread but i don't have a laptop and i don't have the options that are mentioned in the display adapter menu. for starters there's only one display adapter and the drivers are updated.
i tried various tips like changing the 3d settings for obs and restarted game(s) and obs many times as admin, even tried compatibility mode. i also have the problem when using geforce experience atm, which used to work though on this pc. maybe upgrading to windows 10 or installing new intel processor caused this problem. well at least the audio is there for both programs. fraps works 100% fine though. if only it'd produce smaller files! oh and in case you're wondering, yeah i did turn the geforce overlay (and similar things) off. in fact it wasn't even installed before i noticed that obs just produces audio with black screens for me. i recently formatted my hard drive. there isn't that much on there.
when i select a certain window in the game capture settings/properties the game is actually shown in the smaller preview window but not in the normal window and not in the recordings though. recording the normal (out of game) screen works too. tried every checkbox on and off. "enable preview" is enabled.
any help is greatly appreciated. thank you.
